Welcome parents and children! St. Paul’s has a kid friendly worship space. Many parents of little ones like to sit in the west trancept (to the left of the altar, while standing at the back of the church). This space is right off of the chapel area that has books and a play area for kids who might just need a break from the pews. Wiggles and giggles are to be expected and we are happy to see you.
Children’s Sunday School We are excited to offer Sunday School classes for ages 3-11. We will meet downstairs, across from the library. Doors open at 9:30 am. Children will join their families during the offering at the 10 am service. Volunteer help would be greatly appreciated to assist with supervision and assistance with response time on Sunday mornings during the classes. Our current plan includes the use of a Rotation Model in which lessons are shared using different approaches, to allow children to learn and internalize the stories in the ways that are most meaningful to them. We will use stories, art, song and varied projects through the seasons. A modified Godly Play model will be used for many of the story presentations. We are working to ensure that all students feel welcomed and inspired in our classes. For questions or to offer volunteer support, please contact Sarah Nyhan.
St. Paul’s Church has adopted the model policies of The Episcopal Church for the protection of children and youth. The policy can be found here.
