Please welcome the Reverend Kate B. Atkinson, who has recently accepted the Vestry's call to be the new Rector of St. Paul's Church! More information on
Kate and her family can be found here. Kate's first service at St. Paul's Church is scheduled to be August 23, 2009. Many, many thanks
to the Search Committee and Vestry for all of their hard work during this process.
On Sunday, June 21, we held the delayed election for vestry members. There were 162 ballots cast. Re-elected to a full three year
term was Bob Washburn. Joining him for the next 3 years will be Deb LaCross, Doreen LeClair and Jim Milliken. Information on the newly
elected/re-elected vestry members is available here.. The wardens and
vestry thank all the candidates who were willing to put their names forward and reminds those not elected this time there will
be another election in January 2010 (sooner than you think) and encourages them to consider running again.

Preparations for the fair have begun! A small group of volunteers
have been meeting each month discussing fair ideas and
putting together craft projects to sell. We continue to look for
additional volunteers in this endeavor - no experience
necessary! You may join us with your own craft projects to
share, as well. The next potluck/craft night will be held
Sunday, June 14th, 5:30 p.m. at the church.
Please search your attic, basement, back of closets/cupboards,
in the garage and storage shed for items you no longer use. We
can use them to sell on our White Elephant tables and
throughout the fair! We're looking for jewelry, crafts, books,
movies, CD's, games, holiday items, knick-knacks, etc. (We
are unable to accept toys and stuffed animals. Any clothing should be donated
to the Thrift Shop.) All donations must be clean, in good condition and in
working order. Donations can be dropped off at the church office during
business hours, or Sunday mornings in the corner of the coffee room near the
closet doors.
Thank you in advance for donations and assistance with craft projects! We
